Is It Dangerous To Have Dissolving Stitches To Come Out In Whole?

I had a tonsillectomy on July 12th, and everything was OK until this morning when I took some of my medicine, i coughed and a stitch still in a knot came out. I tasted a little blood. My question is, if you have dissolving stitches, is it bad if they come out whole?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

No problem if no further bleeding. As a follow-up watch for bleeding in tonsillar fossa. Avoid too hot and cold food materials.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Arun S Dathan
