Is It Dangerous To Get White Discharge During Pregnancy?
Yes. I'm 24 weeks pregnant. today afiter I went to the restroom I had a small clumpy stuff that come out onto the tissue paper. But it wasn't like a clear discharge I have had in the past. It was more like the fat off of a chicken that has been boiled. It was like a dark white/gray with a few spots of red.
I called my Dr and the nurse said that it's normal but if I start have contractions, bleeding then I should come in. I feel like it isn't normal

I have gone through your very nicely narrated description of the discharge. This discharge from your description appears to be fungal discharge - monalial or candida discharge. Along with the discharge, you must be having itching of the private parts also.
During pregnancy, there is always an increased vaginal discharge which is clear in the appearance. The curdy white discharge you are having with flakes is indicative of fungal infection. This can be controlled by local pessaries which your Obstetrician will prescribe you. Please show him personally, let him observe the discharge and then take the decision of medication.
Please observe the following instructions:
1. Advisable for both the partners to undergo the simultaneous treatment.
2. Till the treatment is over, please observe sexual abstinence.
3. Shave the private parts to avoid painting of the discharge in the hair roots which otherwise causes re-infestation.
4. Cut the nails short.
5. Everyday boil the underwear and use panty liners to avoid soiling of the underclothes.
