Is It Dangerous If Child Bite Karvol Capsules?

My 2.5 year old daughter got into the bathroom cabinet & has bitten into a number of karvol capsules. I do not think she has ingested a large quantity but her skin around her mouth is red and inflamed. It is likely to have had more contact externally than internally as she is old enough to spit it out. She says her mouth is sore.
Is she in danger or is it more likely that we're in for an uncomfortable night but nothing serious

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

The base in Karvol capsules is eucalyptus oil and some other volatile oils which are very pungent. Some of the contents especially camphor might have the effect of causing seizures. I suggest you take her to emergency room immediately.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
