Is It Common To Have Chest Pain After Abusing Crystal Meth?

My 21 yr old came home and admitted to doing crystal meth after a wknd with friends....I'm at the ER right now....He's having severe chest pains....I'm really worried about him....I don't know much about drugs...Except that he should have never done them....Is severe chest pains common in this situation?

Meth is a psycho-stimulant and in few patient it could cause chest pain due to sudden increase in heart beat. There is nothing to worry about it. This chest pain would go after few hours. Just go for proper cardiac investigation to rule out any serious cardiac damage.
