Is It Common For The Hormone In The Mirena To Cause Sore Nipples?
Hi. I have had the Mirena for over a year. Recently, the bleeding has become less, if at all. Although, I m experiencing sore nipples. A week ago I took a couple pregnancy tests which were negative. I am still stressing about the possibility of being pregnant. When I was pregnant with my daughter, one of the first symptoms to appear was sore nipples. Is it common for the hormone in the Mirena to cause sore nipples?

There is definitely a possibility to get pregnant with mirena coil since it is effective more than 99% and less than 1 out of every 100 women with mirena coil can get pregnant.
Soreness of nipples and breast can happen with mirena coil.
Repeat the pregnancy test with morning urine sample as it has maximum concentration of hormones.
