Is It Advisable To Use The Depiwhite Cream For Recurrent Pimples And Scar?

Hello I am 28 years old. I had some pimples on my cheeks. I used Femcinol-A gel and got rid of the pimples. later, I used Aziderm cream to get rid of the small brown spots that were caused by those pimples. It lightened those spots to some extent. My dermatologist suggested me to use Depiwhite cream to get rid of the spots quickly. I read somewhere that Depiwhite cream has some side effects if used for longterm. Is it advisable to use the Depiwhite cream or shall I continue the usage of Aziderm cream? What happens when i stop using the above creams after i get rid of the spots?

Hi,

Well, Depiwhite cream can be applied for depigmentation and it is a good depigmentation cream. It has Hydroquinone which on a very long run can cause some side effects, so it is advisable to apply it for 3-4 months under Doctor's Prescription only. So if your Dermatologist has advised you the same you can use it very well and should follow up with your doctor so that he can advise you when it is suitable for you to switch to some other cream.

It is generally advised to take a break for 2-3 months before you can switch to apply Hydroquinone based cream again. So better apply any medicated creams under doctor's supervision always.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
