Is It Advisable To Take MDMA Before Rhinoplasty Surgery?

I have rhinoplasty in one week and was told not to take medications (such as neurofen and blood thinners etc) for two weeks prior. Can I take mdma on the weekend ( 6 days prior to surgery) or should I not? How will it interfere with surgery and surgery safety ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is definitely not advisable to take MDMA before surgeries as it is a psychoactive drug. More importantly, you want your body to function under normal physiological conditions before surgeries and definitely not alter that. You can feel relaxed by adopting other recreational hobbies like yoga, spend time with family and friends.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
