Is It Advisable To Take Hepexa 300mg With Medrol?

Hello doctor,I was suffered from lichen planus pemphigoides and prescribed medrol + daspone for 20 days. My S.g.P.T level went high form 76 to 112. I consulted my doctor and he asked to stop dapsone but continuing medrol (tappered dose) and also consulted Gastroenterologist for my increased s.g.p.t level. He Prescibed Hepexa 300mg. Kindly advice if I can take Hepexa 300mg with Medrol.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The level of the S.G.P.T. has increased due to the hepatotoxic effect of the drugs, hence your doctor has reduced the hepatotoxicity, by stopping one of the drugs.
Your gastroenterologist has added to decrease the S.G.P.T. which has already raised. So you will have an additive effect of hepato protection.
Avoid taking fats, oils, spices, and junk foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
