Is It Advisable To Take Eufoquin-O For Diarrhea?

hello! i am now in india and i ve been sufferinf from diahorrea, fever (37,5 C) and weakness. Doctor advised me to take for 3 days (2pills a day) medicine called eufoquin-o (200mg Ofloxacin, 500mg Ornidazole). Should I take it? Is it save? I have heard of many side effects..Thank you in advance for your help

Hello,

* The narrated medicine has best results in GI infections covering major intestine pathogens responsible for diarrhea.

* There are no major side effects if there is no history of drug sensitivity, bit you have to face certain amount of nausea, abdomen fullness, minor headache in some cases not all.

* Those side effects can also be curtailed with addition of PPI as omeprazole and other dietary precautions.

* I would recommend to consume additional pro biotics as lacto
bacillus for faster results.
