Is It Advisable To Remove Skin Tag At The Anal Opening Line?

Hi doc, I hv been undergoing treatment for rectal ulcer for many years n takin mesacol suppositories n entofoam enemq etc. M also indulge in receptive anal sex time to time becaude of which my anal sphincter has tightened n causing problems in defecation. Of late I got anal fissures n I took sitcom ointment which has cured it but ther is a skin tag formed at the anal opening line. It has become a little longer n is itchy at times. Can I removed this skin tag witout surgery? Wil applyin diltiact help?

hi there.
1. simple radiofrequency under local anesthesia will give you good permanent results, its a simple office based procedure.
2. even cryotherapy under local anesthesia will also help you, which is not a surgery.
don't try any lotions or medication and irritate the mucosal area, coz it takes some time to heal if damaged.
