General & Family Physician 's  Response
Most of drugs are mostly not given in pregnancies as they have teratogenic effect meams effect on newborn fetus...but still we have many drugs those having low incidance rate or nil teratogenic effect...you have diabetes so we must continue either drug or insuline for blood sugar...as high blood sugar is more harmful to baby than drugs...so according to your obstretician n physician please take medicines for diabetes n your pregnancy...your doctors take care of all your problem...so don't be tensed about pregnancy n your diabetes...still there is very high chance to get very healthy baby...so just relax...n best of luck
