Is It Advisable To Have Beers Having A Heart Stent Inserted?
My husband had stents put in a few weeks ago hh,he wwasn t honest in the hospital about his drinking , however he goes to work and after work drinks maybe nine or ten beers and sometimes half a litre or more of one hundred proof schnapps , hes on many medications as well , will he be ok ?

Hi With already cardiac stents in situ it is really not good for the heart. Due to increased chances of atherosclerosis, because ot alcohol, the chances of stent failure are too high Better to tell the reality to his treating doctor, or to get him counselled with a good psychiatric doctor Take care
