When i was a child/teenager, i used to read alot, and would tear the corner off the bpage and eat it while i was reading. I do not do it now and i never did it to a library book, lol, but i 'ate' paper for a long time without suffering any harmful effects that i know of.

Hi, I m 31 and for as long as I can remember I have been addicted to eating toilet paper and general white paper (not any that s been printed on). I also eat plastic. I used to eat glass but I stop that quite a while back. I am 132 pounds, 5.6 tall and have a slender build. However, ever since I was 13 I ve had a bloated stomach and at times I can look 5 months pregnant. Could the paper be causing this. For 10-15 years I used to struggle with going to the toilet but now I m fine as I am addicted to drinking water and have about 13-20 pints a day. Please can you explain to me the damages I could be causing my body and suggest how I could stop. Thanks
