Is it OK to give Floxamed with norfloxacine to my 7 years old daughter for eye infection ?

Hello, my daughter is 7 years old and we have recently moved to Tunisia with my husbands family. we had a strong wind storm and I think she has an eye infection due to dirt or bacteria . It is in just her left eye, but my father in law has had an eye infection for two weeks and is now improving. I would like to give his medicine to my daughter for her eye also, would this be okay? The first is called Floxamed with norfloxacine 15mg and the other is called Neopred with prednisolone and neomycine sulfate. Her eye is a bit swollen, red and glassy(as if she was crying).

Hi. My daughter is 7 months old. She has been getting eye infections. First she had a cold which was resolved but eye infection s still coming back. We took her for blood tests to check for allergies and got the results back yesterday. Her blood count came back normal. Allergy count is 28, they checked for all the come allergies, wheat, cats, dogs, yolk etc. and everything came back normal. Doctor said she definitely has an allergy and that I should give her Singulair and an anti-histamine for 2 weeks and then he wants to see her. I don’t understand why we cannot pick up what the problem is, don’t blood tests show everything?

I have just been diagnosed with SLK and dry eye after almost two months of extreme pain, swelling, and discharge . I am a 54 year old female. The cornea specialist whom I saw said that I probably had it for years but it is now inflamed. How do you get this condition? What would make it inflame now? I am scheduled for a treatment of silver nitrate. I would like to know more about this condition and prognosis.

hello, My son is two years old, his ledt eye starting get since Christmas, we went to Urgent care and his regular doctor several times and they have said infection and gave him antibiotic drops and it came back again and the doctors said it s eye infection. It s not getting better, still red, very little discharge on the eye, and the during the past month, he had a red sty on his eye twice. The eye specialist couldn t examine him since he was crying so much, but said most likely it s allergies and the sty will go away on it it s own, which did. But the redness is not going away and the eye looks smaller than the other one. Can you please advise what may be causing this? Thank you

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here.hello, I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and under the care of a gastroenterologist. I have been on prednisolone for quite some time and have been tapering down over the last few weeks. I have another 4 days @ 5mg and then hopefully I can stop and just continue on with my mesalazins meds. I am severely bloated due to the prednisolone - puffy face, bloated stomach etc. My doc assures me that this will all subside in due course but could you give me an idea timewise when my weight/increased appetite should return to normal and most importantly the bloating and fluid retention goes away...?Many thanks.
