Is Is Normal To Have Irregular Periods With Heavy Bleeding Just After Attaining Puberty ?
Hi, My 13 year old neice attained puberty during end of December 2010. From then on her periods have been irregular. She recently got her periods after 6 mnths and the bleeding was very heavy, and was there for 6-7 days. Is is normal to have irrgular periods at this stage? Should we take her to the doctor and get any tests done?

Your neice is in puberty age.
She started her period.Initially she will have irregular,heavy or less periods,this is quite normal,nothing to worry.
There may be some emotional problem too,but do not worry.
Give her rest and good nourishing food and mental counseling.

Read your prob, at time of puberty , when menstural cycle started , initially bleeding may be irregular, it may be light or heavy. period also may not be regular, it may be occure two times with in month or missed for many month . it become normal after later so nothing to worry.
