Is Iron Supplement Recommended During 10 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

hi doctor,iam 10 week pregnant .my doctor gave me advice to take folic acid but she didnt give iron .i think i have to take iron as well iam worring abouta that why she didnt tell me and i dont think i have enough iron in my body ,can i take iron supliment with out docto advice ?

first trimester of pregnancy...dont take iron..because of vomiting n iron is contraindicated in first 12 week of pregnancy..
