Is Interstitial Lung Disease Same As Pulmonary Fibrosis?

I have been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease and I am wondering if it is the same as pulmonary fibrosis. I am a bit confused by what some people are saying about the differences and the similarities. Thank you for any information you can help me understand my condition better,

Hello
According to standard books read it as.
Interstitial lung diseases ( I L D ) are a group of more than 200 ( >200 ) disease entities characterized by diffuse parenchymal abnormalities .
Interstitial lung diseases can be classified into two major groups : (1) Disease associated with predominant inflammation and pulmonary fibrosis i.e. interstitial lung diseases is a broad group and pulmonary fibrosis is subgroup .
In other words you can say that pulmonary fibrosis is an interstitial lung diseases group .(2)Disease with predominantly granulomatous reaction in interstitial or vascular areas.
ILDs are nonmalignant and noninfectious , and typically they are chronic.
Hope this information will be helpful for you.
