Is Intake Of Vyvanse 30mg Along With Opana ER 40mg Safe?

Hello, I have been on opana er 40 mg for about 9 years. I was recently diagnosed with Binge eating disorder and given 30 mg Vyvanse to help control or keep the craving for food under control. I want to make sure it is safe to take with my opana er 40. I am on enough meds as it is and all I want is to have some energy and hope this will help me to loose weight by controlling my cravings for food. Sincerely, dixxidawn

Vyvanse is composed of 'Lisdexamfetamine', which is a substituted amphetamine and an inactive prodrug of the central nervous system stimulant dextroamphetamine, that is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Opana ER is an extended release form of 'Oxymorphone', which is an opioid agonist indicated for the management of pain.

There were no interactions noted in the literature between Vyvanse and Opana ER. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist.

You need to always consult with your doctor or pharmacist regarding its intake to be on the safer side.
