Is Intake Of Deviry Twice A Day For Treating PCOS Advisable?

hello doctor ...i am shweta 23 years old ..i am suffering from pcos from last 3 years....my periods are always come after taking medicines ...how can i cure my pcos ...will it affetc my future marriage life...and which medicine should i take which causes less side effets...i always takes estranon..but now my doctor suggest me to take deviry two times in a day for 5 days ....is it a right medicie for me? and is there any risk of ovarian cancer in future...?

Hi, I think you can take deviry for inducing periods. In pco patients, the main problem is absence of ovulation which leads to delayed periods. So, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. But for treatment of pco, you may need some hormonal treatment. You can also take some medicines containing myoinositol and n acetyl cysteine for improving pco. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done. Regarding the pregnancy, you will need to take medicines to induce ovulation. So, whenever you plan for pregnancy, consult a gynecologist. Hope it helps.
