Is Injecting Air With Insulin During Pregnancy Dangerous?

Hello I m 16 wks pregnant and have gystational diabetes which means I have to inject myself before dinner. I got new needles today not familiar with I injected. Air into the insulin then I believe I took out even amount but it seemed very light but I went ahead and injected it into my stomach. Is there any danger if I just injected air and what would be a symptom?

Hi.

It would be best to avoid it, but as it is not an intravenous administration it should not result in serious repurcussions. But please train better and try to avoid it in the future.

Best wishes.
