Is Increase In Hematocrit Level Caused Due To Use Of Testim Gel?
could my hematocrit of 48 (I am a 65 year old female) be caused by testostorone therapy ( very low dose testim gel) in conjunction with low dose oestrogel and utrogestan? Should I stop the Testim gel? I am reluctant as it has made a big difference to my quality of life. Is the high hematocrit reversible

High hematocrit is related to testosterone therapy inducing hematopoiesis. There is nothing to worry as newly formed RBC get destructed at a cycle period of 21 days and once testosterone is stopped, previous homeostasis is achieved within few days.
