Is Increase In ALP A Side Effect Of The Drug Or Obstructive Jaundice As She Underwent Neo-adjuvant?
Hi My mother is a Ca Pancreas patient (locally advanced unrescectable). The disease was diagnosed in April 2013. She underwent neo-adjuvant CT/RT and has been under alternate therapy since then (Nutrient therapy by DS Research Centre) as there was no curative solutions from Doctors. She had CBD stenting in April 2013 and Duodenal stenting in November 2013. She has been administered with dexamathasone (2mg) and Creon 10000. Her LFT was normal till November 2013 after CBD stenting On today blood results reveal ALP -- 522 and Bilirubin of 1.69. Kindly advice for the next course of action. Is increase in ALP a side effect of the drug or obstructive jaundice again.
