Is Hysterectomy Required For The Following MRI Result?

I have had a diagnosis of endometroid adenocarcinoma after having a uterine biopsy. An MRI showed that there is mild heterogeneity of the uterine myometrium. What is this condition? My gynecologist said I will need a hysterectomy due to the cancer diagnosis, but I m uncertain about the MRI findings.

Hi I think you should go for a hysterectomy as the biopsy is suggestive of adenocarcinoma. Also MRI is indicating towards cancer as heterogeneity is there in myometrium. Better to go for a hysterectomy and send the specimen for histopathology to confirm it. Hope it helps.
