Is Human Embryo Vaccine Effective Than Antirabbies Vaccine?

Hi doctors, ive heard of a "human embryo" vaccine for dog bite. can i have this vaccine instead of usual antirabbies (5shots) for my relative? am i correct with that information. please enhance me with what vaccine is needed. will appreciate your response. thank you!

There are different type of anti rabies vaccines like human diploid cell culture vaccine (HDCV), purified vero cell rabies vaccine (PVRV) and purifies chick embryo cell vaccine (PCECV) which are available in the market.

All these vaccines are equally effective and you need to take all the five shots of vaccine with any of the above mentioned vaccine.

If you give any of these vaccine as per the WHO schedule it is going to protect against development of rabies.

I understand your concerns.All types of antirabies vaccine available in the market are equally effective in producing the protective antibody titres level in the body.

Human diploid cell culture vaccine and purified chick embryo vaccine are equally good and equally effective.You can go for any of this.But all vaccines should be taken 5 shots only.There is no single dose vaccine.

Also if your relative has allergy to egg,better to avoid purified chick embryo vaccine.
