Is honey and lemon with warm water helpful to reduce weight?

Hi, I am female, 31, married and having 2.5 year baby. During my pregnancy , my weight got increased and had a sigerian baby, after that I became overweight , my BMI is 26, and I have reducing my weight. My dad is having diabetes also so I am little afraid of overweight future symptoms. I have read that using honey and lemon in warm water twice a day helps a lot in reducing weight, and so I started it, and I found a minor difference in weight within 7 days. I have 2 questions 1. How effective is to use honey and lemon to reduce weight or is there any more effective solution. 2. Is there any chance that I can get diabetes because of using honey and lemon? Please reply Thanks a lot

Hi,thanks for query.See dear weight loss is such an issue that every other person around has some suggestion to give.The bottom line is that weight loss is a mission and it needs your continuous motivation.You have to do regular exercise at least 150 minutes/week and plan your diet.Lemon and honey may or may not be working.You can get diabetes by its use.Please take help of your doctor and dietitian for reducing your weight.bye.

Dear doctor,

Thanks for your answer, but doing just exercise is a very plain idea than taking honey and lemon, because I am already doing exercise.

Second thing honey and lemon will be effective or not, you said may or may not, and I am confused.

Third thing can I get diabetes is again may or may not, I am more confused by reading your answer than before.

Lets say there is possibility of getting diabetes by taking honey and lemon, then I want to know in what kind of situation and which case.

Please clarify.

there is very good result this combination you should take in this way

300 ml warm water +one Teaspoon Pure honey + one teaspoon fresh lemon juice

on other hand there is no diabetes because of honey if it is pure

Hello,
Weight gain is common after pregnancy and shedding those extra pounds always becomes difficult. Kindly let know how many kilograms have you gained? and what kind of exercises are you doing?
You have mentioned you have have found a minor difference---how much weight have you lost and in what span of time.?

As regards having lemon and honey in warm water, it is known to help in losing weight if had on empty stomach the first thing in the morning as honey is a natural remedy which helps in mobilizing the extra deposited fat in the body hence allowing it to be used as energy for normal functions. Along with this, avoid deep fried or high calorie diet. Increase your protein intake in the form of eggs( white of an egg), steamed fish, soya, pulses etc., as it helps in metabolism of fat.

As per statistics a person with family history of diabetes in both the parents has a 96% chance of getting Diabetes. While with a history of 1 parent with Diabetes, there is a 50% chance and with no family history there is still a 20 % chance of getting Diabetes. It is a lifestyle disease, hence only having honey and lemon would not make you diabetic. Watch out for signs and symptoms and if in doubt get your blood sugar levels tested once a year or so.

For losing weight, a combination of diet, exercise and strong will power is required.

This is age old formula to reduce weight, The mode mentioned above is perfect and you have to follow it. If this is joined by other weight reducing measures as exercise and restricted diet the results are still better. There are certain food items which consume more energy for digestion and release less energy after digestion such as brocolli these can be taken in diet. Avoid constipation use of trifla at night also speeds up this process. If you are not diabetic at the moment then this is not going to be the causative factor.
In very few cases i have seen persons complaining of pain in knee joint after taking honey and lime with hot water. If you feel like that then avoid for some days.
