Is Hip Replacement Needed For Arthritic Pain In The Right Hip?
I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis which is moderate to severe in my hips [confirmed by xrays] but only my right hip is problematic. I had a cortisone shot about 5 weeks ago ... and the pain is returning and escalating quickly. I m guessing I ll need to consult with an orthopedic surgeon soon for hip replacement. If done anterior, what is the usually down time since I have a full time job and will need to provide my employer with an estimate?
