Is Hip Pain In A Toddler A Cause For Concern?
hi my question is about my 3 yr old grandson, he climbed on top of the playschool toybox and jumped off, that was about 3 hours ago there is no swelling,or any bruising but he says it hurtsif he trys to walk on it , he says it hurts all the way up to his hip I don t know if I should take him to the emergency room or wait till tommrow please let me know whats best for him

1. Try to put something cold on his hip
2. Give paracetamol sirup according to weight (if 5ml/120mg , give 7 ml sirup)
3. Get him checked to the orthoped. An X-rays of the extremity would help a lot
