Is High Pulse Rate Related To Ruptured Ear Drum?

Hi I was in the ER Friday 12/16/11 and was told I have SVT, they used medicine to stop my heart to re set it. my pulse rate was 191. I have always had problems with my ears feeling full and somtimes I can hear my Heart beat in my ears. I have been this way all my life. My ear drum ruptured on an airplane when I was a infant about 6 months old. Is this related?

Hi,

Ruptured ear drum is not related to SVT and SVT is due to inherent problems in the electrical circuits of your heart.

Hope I have answered your query.
