Is High Fever, Cough And Drowsiness A Serious Cause For Concern?

Hi, my son is 26 years old and has had a fever of 102.7 for several days, has a cough and is very drowsy. His symptoms also started with a headache and chills, some diarrhea and vomiting just once but I m very concerned because he s so drowsy with his fever. I plan to take him to the doctor tomorrow but wondered if he needed to be seen tonight at the ER?
