Is High Blood Pressure Harmful During Pregnancy?

I am 12 weeks pregnant and have been told that my blood pressure, which is normally low to normal, has recorded high. So I purchased a blood pressure cuff to use at home. My blood pressure tonight read at 157/107. Should I be concerned that this could harm the baby?

if high BP is already there and can be more during pregnancy. it can be gestational detected during antenatal checkup. may be associated with preaclamptia. in that case blood group of foetus react or incompatible with mother. Rh factor differance b tween husband wife is important. but other symptoms like albuminorhoea petal o edema is also detected. this may lead to eclamptia.
