Is Hernia Curable By Surgery?
Hi, My father has got hernia . He already had one surgery and it has come again now. Doctor has suggested for surgery again as its increased a lot now. So, I have query if he can be treated at Manipal for surgery and how would be the facility at hospital?

Hernia often occur again and again but now a days there are many types of mesh surgeries available to reduce its recurrence. In old age there are chances of recurrence.
In old age its better to close the two walls of inguinal canal so that recurrence rate is minimised.
The Manipal is good center to get operated.
