General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common with patients with a blood clot and patients on blood thinners.
As of now drugs like tranexamic acid can be tried.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Hello,

Bleeding disorders—When the blood does not clot properly, it can cause heavy bleeding. Medications—Blood thinners and aspirin can cause heavy menstrual bleeding.

The copper intrauterine device (IUD) can cause heavier menstrual bleeding, especially during the first year of use. Sometimes, the cause is not known.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
