Is Heart Surgery Or A Stent Required For Heart Problem?

I have been diagnosed with mild aortic, tricuspid and mitral valve regurgitation and hypo-attenuation of left ventricle. I ve been having SOB and edema of legs. My doctor wants to do an angeography of heart. What could this lead to and could I need stents, balloon or even heart surgery?

welcome to hcm,
now you are adviced for an angiogram it is a test by which a dye is introduced inside arteries supplying the blood to your heart (coronory artery) and a real time xray is seen and recorded. this clearly shows the coronory vessel wether it is blocked or not.

if there is a block in the blood vessels the next thing they see is that single vessel is blocked or all the three vessels supplying the heart are blocked.

surgeries or stent fixation for the blocked vessels is decided then
so it is too early to interpret wether he needs a stent or a heart surgery for the blocks.
surgery for treating your aortic tricuspid and mitral valve regurgitation has to be decided by your treating cariothorasic surgeon. depending upon its severity.
hope this explains
