Is Heart Rate In Between 160 And 170 During Workouts Normal?

Hi, I m would like to know if my heart rate is abnormal? I m 18 year old , Male, 5 4 in height and weight about 100lbs. My normal heart rate is 80-90 when i don t do anything heavy, it jump to 110-120 when i start doing heavily stuff such ass work out, but then went up to 167-172 after about 10 minutes of working out.

The normal range for heart rate at rest is 60 to 100, so your heart rate of 80 to 90 at rest is within normal range.

According to the american heart association , during activity , for your age, it may increase to 100 to 170.
