Is Glucose Level Of 106 In Blood Dangerous?
My glucose level was 106 in a blood test last week. How serious is that? It has normally been in the 90 s except once a few years ago. I cut out Pepsi and went to Diet Pepsi and it (my glucose) was 93 3 weeks later. I also cot out sweets completely, but lately have gotten out of that habit, though not that much. On the subject of Diet colas, any things to fear there. I have about 3-4/day. I am 62 years old and not overweight, and in good health, other than this concern. Thanks, Al

Dear sir/ Mam, The blood sugar level of 106 is absolutely normal. you need not worry at all. The normal blood sugar level in fasting ranges from 70 -110mg/dl.
You need not fear of diet colas also. you can have them.

Dear sir i can understand your concern.
in my opinion considering your age and good life style the blood sugar what you mentioned is very good.
its better to avoid carbonated drinks because they are just empty calories.
the artificially sweetened beverages are going to alter your signaling mechanism in your body and might lead to metabolic condition like diabetes if neglected
so i suggest you to stop diet pepsi/cola
