Is Gastritis And Viral Infection Contagious To Children?
Hello, my name is Shrell. I have started a college course this September which is Childcare Level 2. I have placement Monday and Tuesday of each week in a nursery local to me and yesterday I was diagnosed with Gastritis&Viral Infection. My questions are: Is this contagious? Can I still go into placement with children under 5 with this diagnonis? How long will I be asked to stay off if not allowed into placement?

No this is not the contagious disease unless if you have not wash your hand proper after defecation and voiding then this could spread the infection if comes in touch with another person, but the chances of this also less likely, hope this information helps. have a nice day.
