Is Gabapentin Safe To Be Used With Kidney Problem?

Can a person with a kidney problem take gabapentin without doing any harm to the kidneys. I have been staying the same with my kidney problem for three years now, but know how important it is not to take any medication that would do harm to my kidneys.

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Gabapentin is excreted by the kidneys and if you have reduced kidney function, it can accumulate in the blood and cause harmful effects.
Take Care
