Is Fresh Lemon Juice OK For A Nephrotic Syndrome Sufferer ?

Is it OK to consume freshly squeezed lemon juice diluted in hot water and sweetened with a touch of honey. I am a diabetic and suffer from high blood pressure (both controlled with medication). I have also been diagnosed with stage 3 nephrotic syndrome and my kidneys are 30% functional. I am dieting and exercising. I am a 62-year-old male, 102 kg and 1.62m tall. Thanks

hi,
You can take diluted lemon juice with very little honey.
As you are having nephrotic syndrome sodium and potassium restriction is advisable.
To prevent complications keep your diabetes and blood pressure under tight control.
ok and bye.
