Hello,

Macrobid can cause some changes in the bowel movement and may cause pain or bowel movement changes so it is normal to have these fluttering at the lower abdomen while you have been using it.

If you notice that these do not improve in the next 3-4 days or you notice them getting worse or progressing to real pain or you develop any other side effects please see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
