Is Fluttering Feeling In Upper Chest And Throat Normal While Having Hashimoto S?
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto s Disease in December and wasn t put on any medication or anything but recently I have been experiencing a fluttering feeling in my upper chest and throat. Is this something that happens? Or should I be worried? I couldn t get an appointment with Dr until August 5th.

In my opinion you should first get done thyroid function test (TFT) which includes T3, T4 and TSH.
Hashimoto's thyroiditis can have hyperthyroidism spells.
And hyperthyroidism can cause palpitation which gives feeling of fluttering in chest.
So get done TFT to rule out this.
If TFT is normal than get done ECG to rule out cardiac causes of palpation.
So get done TFT and ECG.
