Is Flight Journey Advisable For A Subdural Hematoma Patient?

My husband is diagonosed with subdural hematomas due to minor injury on his head. He behaves normal without any dizziness problems. If he needs to take a trip by the airplane, would it be too risky? Because there is hematomas in his brain now. Thanks you in advance for your advice.

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for your query.
It would not be something lifethreathening but it is definitely not advisable to have flight in short periods after such injury and at least 6 weeks should pass for longer flights. So it depends on time of injury and duration of flight.
Wish you good health. Regards
