Is Extra Skin Above Clitoris In Hypothyroidism Is Normal ?

I had an increase in weight gain due to hypothyroidism and noticed extra skin above my clitoris. I have went to my gynecologist several times and she says nothings wrong but the extra skin has not always been there. Is that normal (the extra skin is kind of piled right above the clitoris)

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Extra skin over clitoris has no relation with hypothyroidism. It is not due to weight gain. If you have extra skin then you should go for gynaecological examination and if needed you can remove it surgically.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
