Is Excessive Papillae Growth In The Tongue A Cause Of Concern?

Hello, Pain started with the tip of my tongue feeling burnt, I think noticed papillae? Or finger like projections under my tongue but googled and these look normally occurring. An ulcer has appeared where these have been caught on my tooth and the roof of my mouth is red with white spots, with a yellow type of film. My tongue also has lots of bumps on and looks like excessive papillae growth

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Excessive papillae growth in the tongue and the appearance of ulcers on the palate and red and white spots and the other findings are suggestive of a problem of multivitamin deficiency, aphthous ulceration, possible thrush and stomatitis .
You have to take the following treatment:
Multivitamins.
Antibiotic and metronidazole.
Pre and probiotics.
Oral application of anti-fungal lotion.
Plenty or oral fluids.
Liquid diet.
Get an opinion of your Doctor so get a confirmed diagnosis and if required a second opinion of an ENT Surgeon to rule out Vincent's disease or any immunocompromised states like diabetes, HIV and so on .
Take proper care.
