Is Escapelle Effective When Used Within 12 Hours Of Intercourse?

Hello. I have a question about Escapelle. One night, me and my girlfriend had intercourse, and unfortunately, I finished without knowing the condom broke. 11 hours later, my girlfriend took Escapelle. During that day, she said a white substance secreted from the vagina. I want to know what that substance could be, and how efficient is Escapelle if used within maximum 12 hours. Thank you!

Hi.
Yes, it is effective when used within 12 hours of an unprotected sexual act.

Escapelle is an "emergency contraceptive pill" which if taken within 72 hours following an unprotected sex or condom breakage is up to 95% effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy.

Its effectiveness may increase if it is taken as early as possible.

Your girlfriend seems to be having some sort of fungal infection of vagina for which she needs antifungal creams like Clotrimazole from her doctor.

Hope this answers your query.
