Is Endoscopic Dilatation The Right Cure For Achalasia Cardia And Cardiospasm?

Hellow, my name is Andrey and I have a question about a treatment of Achalasia Cardia and Cardiospasm. My wife had an surgery about 3 years ago, but she didn t get a good result of it. In our country(Russia) Endoscopic dilatation is still a prefearable method of treatment of this disease. We would be very grateful, you can give us some advice about this situation and recomend some good clinic to repeat the trearment outside Russia. Thank You!

Hello,

Endoscopic dilation is temporary procedure and you will get symptom free intervals of six to eight months. If symptoms persist you can opt for surgical correction.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
