Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

This dose is in fact under dosing. Your current TSH is high.

Once you are on treatment for hypothyroidism the TSH should fall below 4 miu/l. Your current TSH is 9 which is elevated.

Please make sure that you are taking the medication properly in morning empty stomach. If you taking medication properly and still your TSH is high consult a doctor. He will increase the thyroxine dose to keep your TSH under control.

Yhis will bring down your cholesterol also.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

Regards,
