Is Dizziness While Walking A Sign Of Heart Failure?

I have been dizzy when walking around for two weeks and feel woozy. I have a heart problem due to open heart surgery in 1996 and atrial fibrillation in recent years. I am diabetic and overweight. There ls evidence of fluid buildup in my legs. I am on a blood thinner that was recently changed from warfarin to xarel. My cardiologist also says I am suffering fro heart failure.

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic.
With this presentation, it is possible that your heart is facing much difficulties and not able to pump blood normally. Taking into consideration that you are diabetic and overweight, you need to be followed up carefully. These two conditions can further worsen the functioning of the heart.
Your heart seems to be failing but it can still be controlled with drugs.
You need to be followed up by a cardiologist and an endocrinologist.

I hope that answers your query
I wish you well
