Is Diprofos Injection Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi Dr.

Good day,

My Mrs. is pregernant with 8th month and dr has recommended her to take DIPROFOSS INJECTIONS to strengthen the respiratory system to help if pre meature delvery will occure.

is it the right medicine for her and she should take?

please advise...

Hi, thanks for writing..
This injection is given to patients who are expected to deliver before term. Usually fetal lung matures at 34-36 weeks. Diprofos helps in early lung maturation.. So if sha has any complcatins or expected preterm delivery, it would be better to take this injection.. There is no harm to fetus or to mother.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
