Hello Justus,

I understand the inconvenience you have from the allergic rhinitis.
It requires long term management. The best of course is to avoid the allergens that precipitate the allergic symptoms and this is often difficult. So one has to depend on medicines in addition.
Diprophos is a steroid injection which will work as long as its effect lasts ( about 2-3 weeks). So it is not a complete cure. A single injection may not produce much side effect but repeated injections produce a number of side effects. It increases the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, susceptibility to infections weaker bones etc.
My advice would be to use a steroid nasal spray which does not increase your risk of side effects significantly. You can use it in addition to the antihistamine tablet you are taking.
Hope you get better soon.
