hello delayed periods r sign of pregnancy in sexually active woman with previous normal regular periods but they can happen in other situations like stress, thyroid disease, hyperprolactinemia, polycystic ovarian disease how was ur previous menstrual history were they regular since u r sexually active & not using contraception for 2 months pregnancy remains a possibility brownish discharge with delayed periods could be due to missed abortion, ectopic pregnancy or just premenstrual spotting in non pregnant women ur upt is negative have u done it with first morning urine if not please repeat upt with first morning urine sample if repeat upt is positive ( test & control line equally dark in color ) please go for ultrasound to confirm viability of fetus & to rule out missed abortion if repeat upt is weakly positive ( control line lighter than test line ) u need urgent gynaecological check up with bhcg & ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy if repeat upt is also negative u should go to gynecologist who will prescribe u certain test & medicines for periods to come after examining u hope this could help you
